What is A Year of Nourishment
A 12-month well-being framework that addresses burnout, disconnection, and overwhelm without adding to your team's workload.
Recent live session: 200+ participants
Why This Works
1
People are dealing with burnout, overwhelm, and disconnection. They don't need more productivity hacks or clinical wellness programs. They need nourishment - practices that feel human, accessible, and sustainable - and that are accessible at work and also carry over to take home and use day to day.
2
This program creates community and gives people something meaningful to engage with each month, without adding to their workload or stress.
3
This isn't another wellness program people won't use. Participants engage at their own pace, integrate practices into existing routines, and build skills that extend far beyond the workplace.
What Participants Experience
• Low time commitment (1 hour/month live zoom + self-paced engagement)
• Weekly reflection prompts delivered to your community throughout the month

• Flexible commitment: Organizations can start at any time and commit to a full year, a single quarter (3 months), or a custom timeframe that works for your team.
• Sustainable well-being practices people actually use
• Reduced burnout and turnover
•More engaged, resilient employees
• Stronger workplace culture and genuine connection

• A well-being investment that doesn't require massive infrastructure
•Opportunities for small group work or 1:1
• Ongoing community touchpoints - lighter connection moments via email/Slack/your preferred platform
• Skills that improve both work performance and personal life

• Measurable engagement through participation and feedback
• A program that addresses root causes, not just symptoms

Here's How It Works: The 12 Monthly Themes
January-June
-
January: Rest - Workplace outcome: Combat burnout and improve focus
Rest isn't laziness - it's the foundation for sustainable performance. This month introduces practices for actual recovery, boundary-setting, and recognizing when rest is needed most. -
February: Ritual/Routine Workplace outcome: Build sustainable habits that reduce decision fatigue
Routines create structure without rigidity. Teams explore how small, consistent practices (morning rituals, transition moments, end-of-day closeouts) create stability and reduce overwhelm. -
March: Reflection/AwarenessWorkplace outcome: Develop emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Reflection builds the capacity to notice patterns, understand triggers, and respond rather than react. Essential for leadership development and team dynamics. -
April: Nature/Environment Workplace outcome: Reduce stress and increase creativity through environmental connection
Time in nature (even brief moments) reduces cortisol, improves mood, and sparks creative thinking. Teams explore how to integrate nature into work rhythms, even in urban settings. -
May: Mindfulness Workplace outcome: Improve presence, focus, and stress management Mindfulness isn't just meditation - it's practical attention training. This month offers accessible practices for staying present during difficult conversations, high-pressure moments, and daily tasks.
-
June: Play/Joy Workplace outcome: Boost morale, innovation, and team connection Play isn't frivolous - it's how humans problem-solve, build trust, and access creativity. Teams rediscover what brings them joy and how to integrate it into work and life.
July-December
-
July: Sensory Experience Workplace outcome: Ground in the present moment and reduce anxiety
Engaging the senses (taste, touch, sound, sight, smell) interrupts rumination and anchors people in the now. Practical for managing anxiety, transitions, and overstimulation. -
August: Creativity Workplace outcome: Unlock innovation and fresh perspectives
Creativity isn't just for "creative roles" - it's problem-solving, adaptability, and seeing possibilities. This month removes creative blocks and reframes what creativity actually means. -
September: Learning/Curiosity Workplace outcome: Foster growth mindset and continuous development
Curiosity drives learning, innovation, and resilience. Teams explore how to cultivate genuine curiosity about their work, colleagues, and challenges rather than fixed knowing. -
October: Movement Workplace outcome: Increase energy, reduce physical tension, improve mental clarity
Movement isn't about fitness goals - it's about getting out of your head and into your body. Simple practices for integrating movement into sedentary work days. -
November: Food/Eating Workplace outcome: Practical nourishment without diet culture
Food is connection, fuel, and pleasure. This month addresses real eating (not wellness culture nonsense) - how to nourish yourself during busy seasons, food as cultural bridge, and the social power of shared meals. -
December: Connection/CommunityWorkplace outcome: Strengthen team bonds and reduce isolation Connection is what makes work meaningful. Teams explore authentic connection practices, how to maintain relationships during remote/hybrid work, and building community that lasts beyond this program.
