Service Description

I can't tell you how many times someone has told me, "I hate mushrooms." And then after one of my classes, they're texting me pictures of mushroom dishes they're making at home. Just last month, a student said, "What magic are you working here? I've always hated mushrooms, and now I love them." That's what happens when you learn to cook mushrooms properly. In this 90-minute virtual class, we're making three dishes that showcase what mushrooms can actually do: Crispy Roasted Mushrooms with Garlic & Thyme - caramelized edges, golden brown, umami for days. Mushroom Ragu - meaty, wine-braised, rich enough to make you forget about beef. Creamy Mushroom Soup - velvety, earthy, the kind that makes you close your eyes. You'll learn which mushrooms to buy, how to clean them (hint: don't soak them), and how to coax out their deepest flavor.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds & Transfers: All registrations are non-refundable and sales are final. A full refund will be issued only if NourishandGather/Gather Culinary cancels your course. Registration transfers to another person are permitted with at least 24 hours notice - simply email us at Melanie@nourishandgather.co with their details. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be rescheduled and all registrations will be honored for the makeup date.
