Service Description
Senegal sits on the western edge of Africa, where the food is bold, bright and built on technique that will surprise you. Caramelized onions, citrus and mustard transform into yassa - one of the most celebrated dishes on the continent and nothing like anything you've tasted before. Young chefs will master the art of building a proper yassa, cook jollof rice from scratch, and finish with thiakry - a traditional millet and yogurt pudding scented with vanilla and nutmeg that has been cooling Senegalese tables for generations. Refunds & Transfers: All registrations are non-refundable and sales are final. A full refund will be issued only if NourishandGather/Gather Culinary cancels your course. Registration transfers to another person are permitted with at least 24 hours notice - simply email us at Melanie@nourishandgather.co with their details. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be rescheduled and all registrations will be honored for the makeup date.
