Service Description
Part of our Foundations series. This is a no-nonsense deep dive into grips and cuts - learning how to grip, move, and maintain your knife for speed and safety. We also focus on organizing your space, and learning prep ahead skills so you can enjoy the process of making a mealWe use a mountain of onions for a Classic French Onion Soup as our training ground, practicing consistent slicing and safety. You’ll also master the precision cuts (julienne and brunoise) needed for a crisp Apple and Fennel Slaw. We finish with a lesson in Citrus Supremes, learning how to segment fruit for a clean, gorgeous finish. You’ll leave with the confidence to prep any meal without the usual "kitchen fatigue." Cancellation Policy
Refunds & Transfers: All registrations are non-refundable and sales are final. A full refund will be issued only if NourishandGather/Gather Culinary cancels your course. Registration transfers to another person are permitted with at least 24 hours notice - simply email us at Melanie@nourishandgather.co with their details. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be rescheduled and all registrations will be honored for the makeup date.
